Terms
Terms of use for the website and service.
These terms are a suitable base for a guest voucher platform with optional SMS authentication.
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of the public website and to the use of the Guest Connector software and service, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
The website content is intended to provide a compact overview of the product, its operation and its supported deployment scenarios.
2. Service description
Guest Connector is intended for operating guest Wi-Fi access using vouchers and, if enabled, optional SMS authentication.
The service can include portal pages, administrative functions, device-related configuration guidance, logging and optional RADIUS-based workflows.
3. Permitted use
The service may only be used for lawful guest access and for the operation of networks for which the operator is authorized.
Any misuse, unauthorized access attempt, unlawful monitoring or operation contrary to applicable law is prohibited.
4. Responsibilities of the operator
The operator is responsible for the lawful configuration and operation of the guest network, the connected devices and the portal texts shown to end users.
The operator is also responsible for keeping access credentials confidential, assigning permissions appropriately and complying with any applicable information, logging or retention duties.
5. SMS authentication and privacy obligations
If SMS authentication is activated, the operator is responsible for ensuring that the processing of phone numbers is legally permitted for the specific deployment.
The operator must also ensure that users receive an appropriate privacy notice and that any storage, masking or deletion policy matches the actual system configuration.
6. Availability and changes
The service can be updated, adapted or technically changed whenever required for operation, security or further development.
No uninterrupted availability of the website or the service is guaranteed unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.
7. Liability
Liability for slight negligence, indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit or data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Mandatory statutory liability and liability for intent or gross negligence remain unaffected.
8. Final provisions
If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
The applicable law and the competent place of jurisdiction depend on the relevant contractual relationship and any mandatory legal rules.
